Jewel Bandy Jewel Bandy - President and Co-Owner "our Trail Boss" W hen Jewel was 8 years old, living in a rural community in Honduras, Central America, she had the opportunity to ride bareback on a local business owner's "flea bitten nag; possibly mule". The experience led her to fly on her glorious spirit animal "the horse". She later learned that her sister was there with her also on a horse of her own and she was not indeed alone with a magnificent horse running across the plains, but in a corral walking in a circle under the watchful eye of the adults. The reality of the scene does not matter so much. What happened was a love was born, and Jewel realized that "the horse" was her animal. Her love of horses and western riding gained momentum from spending many happy experiences on her family's cattle ranches in western Canada. It took a few years for her to make her way to the farm and find a cowboy who loved the life of being with horses too, but here she is, Crushing It! As a horse owner, Jewel has learned the importance of horse care and quality of feed and tack. Once she understood the meaningful relationship between human and horse, the importance of the right tack is a natural next chapter. As the dream of the Tombstone Tack Shop started to take shape, Jewel leaned in hard with all her being. She has many years of experience with Customer Service, Creating an Ideal Client Experience and Running Small Businesses. Event Planning and Organizing Teams with Leadership by Learning are in her nature. Jewel has brought life to the retail side of the Tombstone Tack Shop, brought her skill to bear on the Horsemanship Clinics that we host, and finds ways to fill needs in our Equestrian Community by leading to learning with horses and brining western horse riding lessons to our venue. She is active in the breeding program (as assistant only) and loves all the ponies with random acts of kindness. Jewel Bandy is most known for her ability to make sure folks are happy with her warm and kind approach tempered with a firm "Ride the Brand" attitude. Jewel Bandy Co-Owner/CEO Jewel's Objective Besides co-creating "The Ultimate Wild Destination Shopping Experience for Horse Tack" is to hire, train and empower women to gain confidence, experience and management skills to set them up for the next adventure. You have to stop in a Tombstone, they have exceptional hours. With an easy to get to shop. Did I say the shop is on a working horse ranch?? When you drive up and see several horses you know this isn't a fashion shop, but you can get western wears here. Walking up Lee took the time to say hello even though he was busy working horses. As you enter, it is very Ranchy/Western and you see saddles and feed and leather goods. There are also bits for gift cards, soaps and gift wears. More importantly, the information and extended welcome I received from Jewel was "down home". I came in to get the Tombstone coffee cup and have a look see. The 40 minutes I spent was like I was over at a friend of 40 years. Everything in the shop is quality and can be worked without fear of let down. They have artisan leather works as well as name brand goods. Tombstone is also well connected with the community. In the time spent, I learned of two local rodeos and events that they sponsor. So it is also a Learning Center! First visit and I cant wait tp get back! So if you are into western wears or have horses; you've got to go here! Thank you Tombstone

Wyatt Bandy & Gramma Wyatt Bandy & Gramma Junior Associate s Gramma (aka Esther Penner) & Wyatt Bandy – Jr. Associates "our Chuck Wagon Cookie and little Cowboy" G ramma and Wyatt are often found around the Saloon at noon on weekends when we have clinics here at our facility. Gramma is essential to our operation as she handles many behind the scenes tasks such as landscaping, never ending weed whacking, gardening and food prep for our events. W yatt is our little Cowboy and resident icecream man. He can be found selling icecream at the Saloon at high noon on Clinic days.

Alex Morse Alex Morse – Barn Staff "our Flank Rider" A lex 's horse ownership and love of horses will stand her in good stead as barn hand at the Tombstone Tack Shop. More Bio to come... Audrey Demery Audrey Demery – Shop Associate "our Out Rider" A udrey is a passionate equestrian who has grown up around horses of her own. She values neighborly community. A high school graduate with retail and customer service experience. Her horse tack knowledge is a great asset in her role as part-time Associate in the Tombstone Tack Shop.
